Why no microwave for me⬇️

It’s been years since one sat on my counter, and honestly, I don’t miss it for a second.

Before I ditched it for good, I’d already shoved it into the garage just to make it inconvenient to use. Out of sight, out of mind.

And once I started learning what microwaves actually do… well, you can’t unsee it. Aside from the fact microwaved food tastes gross compared to other warm up methods…

A lot of food when you eat out is microwaved as well 😝

Like most people, I grew up thinking a microwave was a kitchen must for reheating leftovers, melting butter, defrosting meat. It was “essential.”

Now? I melt butter on the stove and do everything else with my oven and laugh that I once needed a giant box for that 😂

Leftovers go in the oven or a pan on the stove…they taste better that way. What used to seem “inconvenient” now just feels right.

Since tossing my microwave into the abyss, I’ve leaned into cooking from scratch, real ingredients, and slow food.

Once you start eating that way, you realize microwaves were never a necessity…just another modern shortcut that kept us from connecting with our food.

It’s funny how much we accept as “normal” until we finally stop and question it. And then… you can’t imagine going back.

I went somewhere recently where someone asked if I wanted to “nuke” a plastic bottle to get some sauce out.

Think about how that word is used to describe microwaving food….

Interesting.

I have learned they are not necessary, just a stinky perceived convenience.

What about you?

Changing the molecular structure of food, changes the field and alters the way our body reacts to it.

Homeopathy was hugely effective in curing scarlet fever during an epidemic.

Homeopathy in History:

Throughout most of the nineteenth century, scarlet fever was the leading cause of death among infectious childhood maladies, with a mortality of up to 30 percent in usual epidemics.

Between 1842 and 1852, 270 children with scarlet fever were treated homeopathically at the Protestant Half-Orphan Asylum in New York City with one death, a mortality of 0.37 percent.

Dr. Adolph Lippe reported that, in 1849, he treated in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, “over 150 cases of malignant scarlet fever with the 200th and higher potencies exclusively—mortality—none. The allopathists (ordinary doctors) lost over 90 percent and the survivors were crippled for life.” It is said scarlet fever started in New York City in 1830 and kept spreading into the 1850’s through various counties of adjoining states.
