"The Introvert Ninja" by Eric Franco, published in 2021: [email protected]

Growing up I was told that I am an extrovert, not really understanding the significance of what it meant to be an extrovert or introvert, I was challenged when working with “shy” or more quiet individuals. I always thought that being outgoing and social was the norm in a society that feels like they need to know everything and feels they need to know about everything, and that anyone who preferred quieter, more solitary activities was just shy or antisocial. When we balance and accept our uniqueness, I’ve learned that it's okay to take time for ourselves, to recharge and reflect, and to communicate in a way that feels authentic and comfortable for us. Accepting each unique style as a personal skill.

After reading 'The Introvert Ninja' by Eric Franco, published in 2021, it’s opened my eyes to a whole new world of understanding. I have shared the book with my 15 & 18 year old son’s who’s characteristic’s differ from mine, & as the book shares a beautiful story of how introverts can thrive in a world that often values extroversion, it’s helped me to see the value in taking a step to let the “quiet” be heard. Even though I'm not a person who shows fear in adverse circumstances, when the dust settles, I get to reflect and find that there are many ways of achieving things for and with others. The book is beautiful gift & is a game-changer for me. I highly recommend it to any parent who wants to better understand their children introverted behavior or help their children with extrovert behavior understand the quite children.

Thank you, Eric Franco, for showing us the power of the introvert ninja! 🙌🏼
