Only prune lilacs in spring after flowering. They
set flower buds for the next year after flowering. If you prune after
Mid June you will remove next year’s flowers.

Don't throw out your old coffee grinds, dump them outside of your house. Old coffee grinds repel ants.

Spray this on your lawn and in the woods around your home, this will help prevent ticks from coming onto your property. It will also kill other insect that are lurking on your property.
