Kobe Cakes

Good morning, friends!

I had my annual quality control inspection with Dr. T at Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness Center today.

The verdict? Basically perfect. 😎

Ears? Excellent.
Teeth? Sparkly.
Heart? Full of love (and probably treats).
Overall health? Top tier.

The only problem? I think their scale is broken.

It claimed I weigh way more than 5 pounds. 🤔

Now, I may not be a veterinarian, but I am an expert in making myself at home on any couch, and I can confidently say I’m a tiny little lap dog. The evidence is overwhelming. Just ask my pawrents when I attempt to sit directly on them.

Anyway, Dr. T says I’m healthy, happy, and ready to continue my very important duties as Head Taste Tester, Inventory Supervisor, and Chief Eating Officer at Kobe Cakes.

I’d call that a successful morning. 🐾

Late post because I’ve been very busy today, but one year ago today, my humans made one of the best decisions of their lives.

They got me. 🐾

In the last 365 days, I’ve worked very hard training them. They now understand the importance of proper treat distribution, morning snuggles, squirrel monitoring, and butt scratches.

We’ve celebrated birthdays, gone camping, made thousands of treats, met so many amazing pups, and built Kobe Cakes into something bigger than my wildest German Shepherd dreams.

I’ve chased lizards, supervised baking, protected inventory from suspicious snack thieves, and collected enough belly rubs to last at least another week.

Even though mom was in the kitchen making “Etsy orders” all day she still made sure I celebrated with a blueberry oat cake topped with blueberry’s and a crunchy 1 on top!

But my favorite part of this year hasn’t been the pupcakes, the adventures, or even the treats (and that’s saying a lot).

It’s been finding my family. ❤️

To my mom, dad, and everyone who follows along with my adventures, thank you for loving me, supporting my bakery dreams, and making every day feel like a gotcha day.

Before anyone files a missing pupper report… yes, I’ve been a little MIA lately.

After several very serious board meetings involving treats, tail wags, and dramatic sighing, I officially approved some much needed vacay time for the whole family. 🐶✨

Camping recap:
Fresh air: inhaled.
River: supervised.
Leaves: crunched.
Squirrels: interrogated.
Sticks: never stood a chance

I lived my best outdoorsy life while my humans unplugged a bit ⛺🌿

BUT vacation mode = deactivated 🚨
