I humbly thank my dear friend Karin for consistently using her platform to amplify the mission of . This mission was born from my own lived experience as a child who once knew homelessness firsthand. To have lived in the shelter, and now be able to support the place I once called home is a true testament that you can overcome anything as long as you have a dream and God on your side! Visibility creates change and because of this support, youth who feel unseen are reminded they matter, are met with dignity, and are given hope in real, tangible ways. This isn’t charity. This is purpose. This is personal. And this work matters.

Welcome to year 4!

Through Christ, all things are possible
When I reflect on my life, I’m often brought back to the little girl I once was, living in this very same shelter, waiting, hoping, and praying for brighter days. I never could have imagined that one day I would return not in need, but in service.

What once felt like a place of uncertainty has become a place of purpose. Opportunity Angels was born from my story, my faith, and my belief that no child should feel forgotten especially during the holidays. Each year, this mission reminds me that God can turn pain into purpose and trials into testimonies. The smiles, the laughter, the tears! We threw not one but TWO baby showers in which one mother cried her eyes out because she felt so loved and cared for!

Year 4 is more than a milestone. It’s proof that faith, obedience, and love can change lives including my own. To every volunteer, donor, supporter, and prayer warrior: thank you for walking this journey with us.
I stand in awe of what God continues to do.

Opportunity Angels was born 4 years ago from both heartbreak and survival.

I started this organization in memory of my sister who passed away, and from my own lived experience of being homeless as a child. Losing her changed me forever. Being homeless changed the way I saw the world. Together, those experiences planted a purpose so deep it could never be ignored.

I know what it feels like to grieve someone you love while also fighting to survive. I know what it feels like to be unseen, uncertain, and hoping for a miracle. Opportunity Angels exists to be that miracle for children who are walking a path I once walked one filled with fear, but also the possibility of hope.

Fulfilling every single item from Xboxes, Nintendo switches, iPads, laptops, American girl dolls, bikes & sooo much more! 2000 gifts all wrapped and loaded onto the truck to be shipped to my hometown READING, PA for the biggest party of the season at the shelter!

My sister’s memory lives in every act of kindness, and my story lives in every child we serve. Tomorrow will be another EPIC year. ❤️
