Waterside School will attend a free water safety
workshop by Rising Tide Effect with Mermaid, Che
Monique pool side.
In the first two months of summer alone, Rockaway
had 7 drownings where 2 people died minutes apart in
different areas of the beach.
The only way to prevent and lower these numbers is by
making a simple water safety education action plan and
swimming lessons accessible to all!
