Sounds Like Trouble
Meant to post this last week but had no service, we back this week šš§
I never get the gravy alignments š Feat.
Pressurized walnut media to clean excessive carbon deposits on intake valves. Surprises me how many people donāt know about this service, even technicians. On todayās engines, most have GDI (Gas direct injected) fuel systems. This causes excessive carbon deposits to build on intake valves due to the different placement of fuel injectors (underlying issues can cause worse cases like PCV issues, cheap gas, piston ring blow by). This build up can cause misfires due to valves sticking and performance loss due to not enough air getting in the engine. Good news is, thereās cheaper ways to maintain these engines before thereās a problem like intake misting but that needs to be done from when the car is new, about every 20-50k miles. When the valves are this bad, misting isnāt really going to do anything but get carbon chunks in your converters or engine š If your car is GDI and you havenāt done the misting ever, might as well come to me for some nut blast action š
