For nearly 70 years, the Col. James M. Schoonmaker traveled the Great Lakes carrying the raw materials that helped build the Midwest. Today, she’s docked right here in Toledo as one of the most recognizable pieces of our city’s history.

This design celebrates the legacy of a ship that once held the title of “Queen of the Lakes” and remains a symbol of Toledo’s maritime roots.
