I wanted to share a brief update and ask for continued prayers for Andy.

After being home for a couple of weeks, he is back in the hospital. He’s having difficulty tolerating anything in his stomach, which has led to aspiration pneumonia. His medical team is working to treat the pneumonia and find a way to get him the nutrition he needs.

Even in the middle of all of this, he continues to face each day with grace. Through the weariness, pain, and exhaustion, he responds with compassion and love for his family, his medical team, and yes, even his annoying sister 🙂. He’s still the one asking how everyone else is doing.

Thank you for the prayers already lifted up. I’d like to ask us to join together again. 💕💕💕💕

Prayer:

God, we place Andy in Your care. Please bring healing where his body is struggling, clear the pneumonia, and open a safe path for the nourishment he needs. Give his doctors wisdom and steady hands, and surround him with Your peace in the midst of his weariness, pain, and exhaustion. Hold him close, and let Your presence be felt in every moment. Amen.
