Free Methodist Church in SoCal

As a network of churches, one of the beautiful things we're working on is seeing new churches grow out of healthy existing churches. As aspiring church planters are mentored, equipped, and encouraged within a local church, they begin building teams, clarifying vision, and learning to lead before they're sent to plant.

This week, Pastor Brian Warth spent time with Luis and Josseline and their growing core team as they prepare to plant a new Free Methodist church in the San Fernando Valley while being mentored by Pastors Joe and Lilyana Castillo through 180 City Church. Together they prayed, shared vision, answered questions, and invested in the kind of foundation that leads to healthy, lasting ministry.

Church planting is an opportunity for all of us to invest in the next generation of leaders and join God in expanding His Kingdom— we are sent together.

Fatherhood is the most rewarding and humbling journey. Most dads carry a quiet question they never say out loud: Am I doing this right?
So let's answer it: the effort is what counts. The showing up. The trying again after you got it wrong. That's fatherhood.
We also celebrate every man who showed up for someone without being asked, the stepdad, the uncle, the coach, the mentor, the friend. You changed someone's story.

So don't keep your gratitude to yourself. If you're a father: you are seen. If you're a son or daughter: don't just think it, say it. Tell the father figures in your life what they mean to you.

Those words land deeper than we think, especially for people who aren't used to hearing them.
