What a blast! The Telluride Volunteer Fire Department and the Telluride Fire Protection District hosted a community Halloween gathering today at Station 1 where lots of goblins gathered, laughed, and put down some burgers and dogs!

Telluride Fire personnel trained Monday on “forceable entry” techniques. In a fire or EMS emergency where first responders need to but cannot gain access into a structure, forced entry may be necessary. This step, though a last resort, may mean breaking a window or breaching a door. Safety is our first priority for you and our crew, and all efforts are made to protect property. However, sometimes forced entry is required to protect and even save lives. Rest assured, Telluride Fire will be there for your emergency, and if forceable entry is required, we’re trained and ready to do so.
