We kick off our Happy Hour on the SHOW Bar Patio Series a week from today with Sol Chase! Enjoy great music for free and grab a delicious drink from our bar. Music starts at 7 p.m. right after our 20th annual Telluride Plein Air Quick Draw, so drop by early to pick up some beautiful artwork, then stay for the show!

A mandolinist and songwriter from a young age, Sol developed his musical style with mentors across many genres and walks of life, from New England old time players to jazz guitarists. His longest stint of musical development came from seven years spent in the “Live Music Capital of the World”, Austin, Texas. He founded and led several bands during his time there, refining a sound that mixes traditional Americana with psychedelic ‘jamgrass’.

Sol has recorded with Third Eye Blind, shared the stage with The California Honeydrops, and opened for Shinyribs and The Sweet Lillies, among many others. Since leaving Austin in 2022, Sol and his partner Evergreen have traveled across continents in search of new heights and new pals to make and share music with.

The Fig hosts our Telluride Comedy Fest AfterSHOW on Thursday, February 16! We remember our dear friend Silas Berrier with this night of laughter and locals performing original standup in our SHOW Bar. This show is FREE and open to the public with priority entrance given to Telluride Comedy Fest Thursday night ticket purchasers.

The Fig Telluride was freshly established in August of 2022. At its core, founders Jacque Garcia and Miranda Beck want to bring people together to perform art in a variety of ways. They strive to support local emerging artists with workshops (always free) and event-planning-logistics.

Our AfterSHOWs are back! Join DJ Moldybrain for a dance party in the SHOW Bar immediately following on Friday, January 13 and Michal Menert and Late Night Radio on Friday, January 14.

Moldybrain is the Charleston, SC based project of Jared Aaronson. With a wide array of influences from all over the globe, his mixes tend to span many genres (tech house, disco, dubstep, hip-hop to name a few) and find harmony in big moving soundscapes. Tailored to fit their environment in real time, each set is unique and curated to uplift. Over the past decade, MB has shared stages with the Motet, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Moon H***h, Little Stranger, LouLou of Thievery Corporation and many other national touring acts. In 2022, he was voted DJ of the year in the Charleston City Paper.

AfterSHOWs are free and open to the public with priority entry given to ticket holders of the main stage performance.
