For the longest time, my perfectionist tendencies negatively impacted my career. I was known for my passion and expertise, but also known for a LONG time to execute on anything.

Colleagues would lap me. I'd be passed up for projects and promotions and I could never figure out why.
I WANTED things "done right," while others were simply focused on getting things DONE.

What turned things around for me was learning this simple idea - Get it 70% to ideal, and then launch, because "done is better than perfect."

Even as I write this, I can still hear the other side of my head arguing with that idea, but learning to push back against perfectionism has had a MASSIVE and positive impact on my life.
