Dead Kids Don’t Ride Bikes turns two this summer. D&T is the first publisher I’ve worked with in my 30 years as an indie. Pretty cool to let someone else do some of the business stuff for me got a change.

It’s MEET the AUTHOR time!!

This is Tim Murr. We published his book, Dead Kids Don’t Ride Bikes.

Tim Murr is an author, editor, journalist, artist, and publisher. He founded St Rooster Books in 2010 with his wife, Stephanie, an artist in her own right, and has been working in indie publishing since 1996. He is the author of Summer’s Venomous Kiss, Texas is the Reason: Five Decades of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Whatever Happened to Spiderbaby Jane?, My Skull is Full of Black Smoke, Thirsty and Miserable: A Critical Analysis of the Music of Black Flag, Neon Sabbath, Motel on Fire, and The Gray Man. He has edited several anthologies through St Rooster Books, as well as the literary magazine Stranger With Friction. He has way too many cats and probably forgot to do something really important.
