🌱 The First Harvest 🍆

To some, this may look like just a handful of eggplants.

To us, it represents faith, patience, endurance, and hope.

Every seed planted was a reminder that meaningful change doesn't happen overnight. There were long days of preparing the soil, pulling weeds, watering through the heat, and trusting the process even when nothing could yet be seen.

Today, the Appleseed Outreach Community Garden celebrates its very first harvest. It may be small, but every harvest has a beginning—and this is ours.

This moment is proof that when a community comes together with a shared vision and refuses to give up, growth will come in its season.

Thank you to everyone who believed in this project, volunteered their time, donated resources, and encouraged us along the way. Your patience and perseverance are bearing fruit.

Never despise small beginnings. Today's first harvest is tomorrow's abundant harvest. 🌿💜

The workshop takes a hands on approach to learning how to grow food.

Starting May 16, 2026, we’ll meet weekly to learn simple gardening skills, work in the garden, and grow fresh food together.
