Irelands favorite thing forever and ever has been a cookie fruit tart… Back when she was a little girl and learning how to bake Grammy and Papa bought her a cooking around the world kit, and it was one of the first things that she learned how to make and she continued to perfect it and make it for many many years… Now she doesn’t like getting in the kitchen so much so I make them!

My last ‘Beginner Sewing 101’ class of the Summer was Sunday, while bittersweet to shelf my machines for a month, I’m so proud of all of my students!
From October 2025 to June 2026 Ive taught over 200 classes, my students have sewn bags, stockings, quilts, clothing, baby gifts and more! Some of my students have worked hard and stitched up numerous items for charity and two even started their own small business! I’m so excited for a little time to selfish sew, but can’t wait to get back with students sharing my love of sewing!
