Do you have an older HP printer and now have to use the Universal print driver in Windows 7 or Windows 8?

That driver is very problematic as I'm sure you have discovered. HP doesn't offer support for drivers in older machines on purpose(to get you to buy an new one).

The trick is to use the Windows Vista driver(PCL5 or preferably PCL6) for your printer from HP's website. It works like a champ, you just have to know how to install a driver and know if your new system is 32 bit or 64 bit. We hope it works for you too!

We get a lot of people asking what printer is best for BUSINESS.

We believe, through experience, that HP laser printers are the best printers out there. Whether color or b&w, there isn't a close second place. HP's have the best quality toner manufacturing, lowest real-world cost-per-page and by far the longest lasting machines with the lowest repair costs.

You pay a little more upfront than other brands, but will usually recoup the extra cost within a year through toner savings.

TIP: Don't buy the lowest model. Toner costs go down approximately 30% with each series # you go up, adding up to real savings down the road.
