Hello friends and supporters 🧡
We want to share Boggs & Haller’s story with you. Boggs and Haller’s journey began when they were discovered on a doorstep when they were just 8 weeks old - two tiny orange kittens who quickly grew into big 12-pound sweethearts and who’ve always been inseparable.

Two years ago, Haller became critically ill with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Our rescue took a leap of faith and funded his treatment, and today he is completely healthy and thriving.

Next it was his brother Boggs’ who needed a miracle. Last week he developed a severe urinary blockage caused by crystals. These can be life threatening because they physically cannot urinate.

Boggs spent four days at a veterinary hospital fighting to recover. He finally came home... but the following morning he was blocked again and had to be rushed to Sylvan Veterinary Hospital.
The veterinarians had to perform a Perineal Urethrostomy (PU) - a procedure that creates a new, wider urinary opening to prevent life-threatening blockages from occurring in the future. The surgery saved his life.

Boggs is already feeling better and showing us the same sweet, loving personality everyone adores. But emergency hospitalization, surgery, medications, and follow-up care have created a large veterinary bill for the rescue that dipped quite a bit deeper than we were anticipating. All veterinary bills combined for Boggs were a little over $3k.

If any of you feel moved to donate to our rescue it would be appreciated. Even $5 or $10 - truly helps. If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this post-can help Boggs reach someone who can.

This rescue is dedicated to ensuring the cats and kittens in our care receive the treatment they need to thrive. Thank you all for listening and if you can help us replenish some of the funds used to give this sweet orange boy the future he deserves and a third chance, we’d be grateful.
