The Stevens Point Chapter distributed almost 2,400 flags to Stevens Point Fourth of July Parade spectators. We played America 250! trivia and at noon we rang bells to celebrate our independence.

Stevens Point Chapter members are helping to restore the Fort Winnebago Surgeons Quarters Historic Site, volunteering with the Portage County Historical Society, preserving family Bibles, and indexing historic documents. Won't you join us?

250 Years Ago -- On June 28, 1776, the Committee of Five (Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman, and Robert R. Livingston) submitted the final draft of the Declaration of Independence to the Continental Congress.
