Don't mind me, I'm just geeking because this past weekend I got to meet THE !!!

That's right, Auntie Rissa's took a trip to Wilson, NC to visit and meet one of our biggest baking role models!

This cake looks different huh? That's because we made it while on vacation without our tools!

Pre-made angel food cake, cut in half, filled with strawberry filling, and then decorated with store bought icing using zip lock bags as piping bags! Assembled and decorated in under 45 minutes!

Another batch of macarons for funniest! This time we added caramel latte frosting and a dollop of sweet caramel in the middle!

I'm so happy with this Vintage-esque heart cake with a GORGEOUS velvety blue icing!

We got a very special Mother's Day orders this year for an expecting mother! The dad to be ordered cupcakes, macarons and chocolate covered strawberries as a surprise for his beautiful wife!
