SLDC has reopened HomeSTL, a homebuyer assistance program helping first-time buyers purchase a home in the City of St. Louis.
With up to $50,000 available through a no-interest, forgivable loan, the program is helping open doors for residents while supporting stronger neighborhoods. Individuals impacted by the May 2025 tornado are also encouraged to apply.
βIf we can start building density pocket by pocket, weβre on a path to building a stronger market for the City of St. Louis and some of these long, historically disinvested neighborhoods,β said Deion Broxton, SLDC's Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs.
β Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis. To get started, applicants should contact an SLDC-approved lender.
