St. Louis students 'want to win' at international robotics competition held downtown The VEX Robotics World Championship at America's Center is hosting thousands of students including six teams from Gateway Science Academy.

GSA will be represented by 6 teams there.

As you may already know, the VEX Robotics World Championship is coming to St. Louis!
This is not just any event - it’s the largest robotics competition in the world. Students, educators, and families from all 50 states and more than 60 countries will gather in St. Louis to showcase incredible innovation, teamwork, and technical skill as they compete for the world championship.

GSA will be represented by three elementary teams, 2 middle school teams, and one high school team. We are proud to be the only school district in the city sending students to the World Championship and to have the most teams representing St. Louis and Missouri.

The elementary and middle school competitions will take place from April 28–30 at the America’s Center Convention Complex and The Dome at America’s Center. For agenda: https://recf.org/.../vex-robotics-world-championship-agenda/

We encourage your students and families to visit the convention center during these dates. The event is free of charge and open to the public! It’s a great opportunity for field trips, cultural exposure for CYSP students, and for those interested in volunteering and being part of the event.

The Popcorns (Team 6651C) have officially qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship—the largest robotics competition in the world! 🌎🤖 This is a massive accomplishment and deserves all the applause! 👏👏👏

A huge shoutout to our talented team members: Kayla Johnson, Athena Young, Natalya Benner, Noah Pettaway, and Ayman Ahmed—you’ve made us all so proud! 💚

And the best part? The World Championship will be right here in St. Louis at the America’s Center

Gateway Science Academy Robotics Club teams had an incredible performance at the Missouri State VEX IQ Robotics Competition held March 7–8 at St. Charles Community College!
