In June, local teens participated in Teen Advocacy Day and shared their personal story about life with cystic fibrosis and the need to increase funding for the National Institutes of Health with members of Congress. We’re incredibly proud of them for representing the CF community. Here’s what they thought about their experience:

Jordan: The most meaningful moments were when the office staff were clearly engaged and supportive of what we had to say and ask.

Langston: This was my 2nd TAD. I had lots of fun and was glad to advocate on behalf of my brother. My favorite part was walking around the Hill and meeting new people.

Mabry: This was my first TAD, and it was so fun to try something new and meet new people. It was a great experience, and the most meaningful part was that it was for my little brother.
