A little transformation photo on this snowy Friday. Can you spot the difference (besides the marvelous paper crown, and terrible hair color)?
The photo on the right was me six years ago, not giving my body what it needed in nutrients and definitely not providing it with good hydration. True, I have make up on in both photos but the one on the right is tons of foundation and concealer, the one on the left is a tinted moisturizer I use daily.
Water and nutrition are everything when it comes to getting older! 80-100 ounces of water a day, green veggies, protein, and heathy fats can make a lot bigger change in your skin than any beauty product!

Mommy guilt is real, I get it. But when a mom puts herself first 🙋‍♀️, she’s then in a better position to take care of the ones who rely on her the most!

Let’s chat for a moment about food. I love it. I love to cook, eat, research new restaurants and places to travel to experience new foods. If you know me, my husband or have been to our home you know food is a big part of “us”. My journey to healthy has been a long road and I did it wrong for a long time. I was too restrictive, too lax, and everything in between. It’s only in the last year I have learned balance. How to enjoy my love of food and the experiences it bring in my times with my family and travels without giving up on keeping by body healthy. I realize posting recipes we enjoy only gives a small snip it into what I am speaking of, so if you are struggling to figure out a balance, please reach out. Even if it is only to ask a few questions, I want to help.
If we care and nurture our bodies like we do other things in our lives they truly do give back to us in ways that are worth the time and effort.
