When I saw that posted about EVE, a new novel by , I immediately added it to my TBR. Historical fiction is my jam, and about Eve?! Sold. I needed more, so I found an episode on when interviewed B.K. (so good, you should listen!).

When I reframed Eve in my own mind a few years ago, it was a seismic shift. She wasn’t second to be created, first to sin; she was exercising agency and seeking knowledge—a good and critical thing! I couldn’t agree with B.K. more on this point (and everything else she said in the episode lol—like the weaponization of Scripture is the plucking of verses that support male power and calling that theology!).

Have you reconsidered Eve? What if she was never the villian but the hero? ❤️🐍🍎
