Some things bloom brightest against deeper tones.
There’s something really special about creating a piece that invites both depth and play
This painting was designed for a private event with Scarlet Moon this weekend—something a little moodier, a little more expressive, and rooted in that in-between space of shadow and color. I leaned into an impressionistic style so it feels approachable, while still holding a bit of that edge and emotion the group was looking for.
Because it’s a guided experience, every element was created with intention—something beautiful, but also something that can be explored and completed within a few hours. My favorite part of these events is watching how each person’s version takes on its own life.
I’m really looking forward to sharing this space with everyone this weekend
If you’ve ever been curious about hosting an artistic gathering, or want something a little more meaningful and creative for your own event, feel free to message me—I’m always happy to talk ideas.
Tell Me What the F Should I Do With It? — Episode 1
This piece has been sitting here like it pays rent.
Not finished. Not abandoned. Just… existing in my peripheral vision.
Every time I walk past it, we make eye contact.
And neither of us knows what happens next.
Options include:
• Sell it — trust the gut, stop overthinking
• Frame it — maybe it just needs a glow-up
• Refresh it — she’s due for a little character development
• Redo it — same idea, better ex*****on
• Scrap it — paint over and pretend this never happened
• Burn it — for legal reasons, this is a joke 🔥
What would you do?
Because apparently I can make a whole painting,
but deciding its fate? That’s where I spiral.
How I mend a hole in a canvas. Nothing getting wasted around here. It all becomes a part the mosaic which is my body of work.
