Today is for sitting still.

Today is for listening.

I chose to use today to finish up work on my planner for the upcoming year. I’m fasting and praying to listen to what God has for me this upcoming year.

My goal is for my desires to align with His will and plan for my life.

Tomorrow is the beginning of what will inevitably be a chaotic season. I start my master’s program tomorrow. My job will get chaotic again soon. The girls will be home from their dad’s in 2 weeks.

I have other things I’m working on planting and growing this year.

So before all of that, I’m going to sit in the quiet with Him.

I’m going to refresh, recharge, and regroup.

And remember where my strength comes from.
