SNAP benefit delays affect residents at RecoVET as federal stalemate continues As the government shutdown nears a record 40 days, local veterans are among the latest impacted by delayed federal benefits.

Today, we honor the lives lost, the courage of first responders, and the strength of the countless heroes who answered the call.

For the veteran and military community, 9/11 holds an especially deep meaning. It was a day that changed the course of history—and inspired many to serve and protect.
