I can't say enough about this great read. "Ain't Nobody's Fool" is a very well-written, painstakingly-researched new book. I just finished reading it and highly recommend it, even if you never considered yourself a Dolly fan. You will be one by the time you finish this one! Author Martha Ackmann is known nationally for her deep research and writing about many topics, but especially highly-accomplished, trail-blazing women, from poets to astronauts. ***Side note: I was lucky enough to have her as a teacher/high school radio station manager in the Ritenour School District!
