Another COVID wedding portrait. I finally finished, framed and hand-delivered this Texan wedding portrait last week. It hangs next to the couple's baby portraits id done a couple of years ago.

It was an early January day, a bit brisk, but still beautiful. It was family only and the flowers were designed and arranged by the bride and her bridesmaids.

This portrait was as challenging as any I've ever done!! The textures at times were overwhelming!! Her woven shaw, his herringbone vest, her flowers, the tree bark, the split rail fence, and weeds.. . . .oh my!! I love challenges! It stretches me into unknown territory. The couple was thrilled with the finished drawing, which is my greatest reward!!

This is the third beautiful daughter of three in her family. These commissions were over a three year period of time. Each daughter was uniquely different, and I loved getting to know them spending about 800-900 hours of time studying and drawing every minute detail. I'll miss them!
