The St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals paid tribute to the rich legacy of the Negro Leagues with a special Salute to the Negro Leagues game, featuring KC Monarchs and St. Louis Stars-inspired caps for players and fans alike.

The first 15,000 fans received a KC Monarchs hat, while proceeds from game-used cap auctions will support the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and help preserve the stories of the players who helped shape the game we love today.
