We recently celebrated the end of year one of the Financial Futures Education Savings Program pilot and have some exciting news to share: participating students earned a whopping $422,000 toward their 529 savings accounts! Plus, the program will continue into a second year!

Designed to help reduce financial barriers to higher education, this program helps students earn contributions toward their 529 education savings accounts by completing career and financial education activities with Everfi—supporting paths to college, technical school or apprenticeships.

The pilot launched at Sam Houston High School in Arlington, with 31 students participating. We’re proud of these students and grateful to everyone who helped make year one a success.
