Update on the French Bulldog mix found at the History Museum. Lindy is ready to consider adoption applications! He is off his stray hold time and had his neuter, microchip, heartworm test and rabies shot today. He was 22 # when he was tossed out of the car the 9th of June. Today he weighs 34.3 lbs! He should finish out at about 38. Vet thinks he is just 2 years old. He is crate trained, lead trained, house trained (2 small accidents the first week). Good with children and very affectionate. If you are interested in giving Lindy a great and loving permanant home, please fill out the application at www.rescuebulldogs.org and be sure to say you are interested in Lindy the Frenchie mix in the notes at the end.

Welcome Otis to STLEBR! We knew he needed a palate resection and probable ACL surgery, but we didn't have 4 eyelid entropion on the bingo card! Decided to do the palate and entropion surgery yesterday. Then the plan is to put him on a diet and exercise program to get some of the weight off before the ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) surgery. Otis is currently not pleased with the eye stitches, but he has found an open airway lets him hit higher notes as he loudly complains about his situation! CeCe tells him he is a cry baby, and Bucketz is in complete sympathy. Never a dull moment...
