Thank you to everyone who joined us for "Every Child, a Voice" our second annual Cause Concert and our season three finale.

It was an unforgettable evening filled with moving performances, powerful stories, and the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work of our community partners: CASA, Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, and Youth In Need.

We were honored to present the world premiere of this year's Catalyst Commission by Ed Frazier Davis and to celebrate the power of music to connect, inspire, and strengthen our community.

Thank you for helping us close Season 3 on such a meaningful note. We can't wait to share what's next.

Continuum Vocal Ensemble is now accepting submissions for our annual Catalyst Competition — commissioning bold new choral works that challenge conventions and ignite connection. We’re seeking composers with unique voices and compelling ideas to join us in shaping the future of choral music.

🌟 What we’re looking for:
📝 Innovative, immersive, and daring choral concepts
🎤 SATB (divisi permitted), unaccompanied, original works
🗺️ Proposals rooted in curiosity, creativity, and collaboration
💸 Selected composer receives a $3,000 commission, mentoring and commission workshop, and a professional premiere and recording by Continuum Vocal Ensemble

This opportunity is open to:
Composers of any age and nationality
Composers who have not yet received significant commissions or had extensive performances of their works are especially encouraged to apply

🎉 Exciting news!!! 🎉 Continuum has been invited to perform for the 2025 Chorus America National Conference this June in St. Louis. It is an honor to be selected and to represent St. Louis in front of a national audience of choral directors, executives, and other professionals. 🤩

BONUS: Artistic Director, John McDonald, and Board Chair, Barry Kirk, were selected to co-present a breakout session for the conference as well!
