From egg to chick, our Grade 3 students are bringing science to life during our animal life cycles unit. Thanks to eggs generously donated by a local farmer, students spend 21 days observing, documenting, and learning as they monitor growth in the incubator. One of the most exciting moments is candling the eggs, allowing students to see the chicks developing inside before they hatch.
Once the chicks arrive, the learning continues as students observe how they grow and change, while sharing the experience with other Lower School classes. ❤️🐣✨
