I am still working on my "If Ever I Cease to Love". I need an apple tree for the set. I remembered my "The Nightingale" show which I never performed and scenery had a large tree. The tree was designed to hang from a backdrop rod. I had to transform it into a stand alone set piece. It was created before I learned to gesso both sides of the foamcore to prevent warping and was terribly warped. So I had to add additional support to the back and gently ease the warping. And then transform it into 2 interlocking pieces for storage and shipping. I am almost ready to repaint the tree. I think I am spending more time creating the tree than making the puppet for the act.
