Every so often I receive a request to portray a beloved pet , and I’m happy to provide it!

Such was the case depicting this recently completed 8″ x 10″ mixed media portrait of Louis, a three year old Golden Doodle. The artwork was commissioned by my friend Paula as a gift to her daughter, who is Louis’ owner and loves him dearly. From what I understand, he is a very happy and energetic dog — he may be little, but he has a BIG personality! Best wishes for many more joyful years with loveable Louis!

This spacious and handsome home in Olivette, Missouri was so interesting to portray! Completed last week, the 8″ x 12″ watercolor painting is a gift from my client to her future in-laws when her daughter marries their son. The rich, multi-toned bricks and substantial stone trim work make this property so impressive and interesting to depict. Best wishes to both families!
