Her in-laws lived at the edge of a canyon overlooking the Rio Grande with national forest on the other side. The views are stunning, even in mountainous deserts aren't your thing.

McKinney Falls winter beauty - Defy Photography LLC Samantha's travels recently brought her to the Austin, TX area. While there, she was able to explore McKinney Falls State Park. She found beautiful old trees covered in ball moss, an ancient rock shelter, and water features running low during the winter.
