2026 feels different in so many ways but one thing I’m holding onto are the women who inspire me each and every day.

Charting paths of our own isn’t easy. Believing in our magic and investing in our healing. envisioning a better future for the babies who are growing up faster than we can keep up. Making room for the silly and the joyfulness that we need to navigate being human. It’s intentional and impactful.

I want to share every image from this shoot because it’s full of delight and in a world that feels chaotic and heavy, it’s in these space I want to savor and celebrate a bit more.

Thankful for these two women in so many ways. We are magic ✨🫶🏻

To the ones who came before us. The shoulders of giants we stand on to reach heights our ancestors never imagined. We pay our respects. We do our best to honor. We take time to remember.

With every photo I take I have the privilege of preserving memories and stories. This photo is a combination of this family’s milestone moments with their favorite tree in Forest Park and Tree Scan Project that I’ve been working on for the past ten months.

My instinct to document the trees, to tell the stories of the memories the trees held and to find a way to create something that we could all hold onto, that instinct is deep. The stories are too. This particular family has had every milestone:

Elopement, date nights, maternity, newborn, play dates and birthdays, this tree is one they return to again and again. Its loss is great and deeply felt and yet wha a gift to have the photos and the art to return to, to remember and preserve our shared sorrows and joys.

Thankful to for their continued work to make time to preserve and remember while we reimagine what the park will look like next.
