Yesterday we celebrated Mother’s Day at the same time that we were celebrating we also had to mourn our mothers and grandmothers and children that are no longer with us. Today is not promised and nor is tomorrow, so you better make the most of each day❤️Our mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a few years ago and it hurts just saying it out loud it hurts reading the words it hurts every day when I think about the time with my mom, I can never get back. I was raised by a strong, loving, dedicated, nurturing woman. She tried to protect me from so many things, and there was so many times that I did not listen. My mom poured a special nurturing love inside of us and it was that Love that has helped me to become the mom and the woman and the grandmom that I am today ❤️ I only wish that I could turn back the hands of time and be in her presence when her mind was more cognitive so I could have been more prepared for days like this❤️ I wish my mom would’ve had the opportunity to see me for the woman that I am today to see me for the woman she wanted me to become ❤️ things and days are not easy, but I am thankful that I am at least able to put my arms around My Mom and that she is able to put her arms around me and tell me that she loves me ❤️ for all of my friends and family that have lost their mothers. You are in my prayers. I cannot imagine the strength that you have to have each day ❤️ I don’t know what I would be like without My Mom and I struggle every day thinking about it ❤️ ladies love on yourselves love on your mothers love on your daughters love on yourself and allow yourself time to heal from your past mistakes and pour as much of yourself as you can into your daughters and granddaughters so that we can heal our women from the generational curses that keep us bound ❤️
