I’m excited to share that our powerful book, “Calladitas Rising: Reclaiming Your Power, Strength, and Voice,” will launch on September 26th. It will highlight the stories of approximately 30 extraordinary Latinas with whom I have been humbled to connect through this project. In this book, we embrace the power of our voices and share our stories. It is a collection of stories of us reclaiming our strength and will show the world our incredible power.

In my chapter "Breaking the Cycle: Shattering the Silence to Disrupt Generational Trauma," I discuss the real impact of complex trauma and harmful conditioning and two events that changed the trajectory of my life, propelling me to thrive despite the odds.

This chapter has been a stepping stone in my healing journey, helping me embrace and act on my dreams, passion, and ultimate goals. This book will be available as an ebook for 1.99 in the first 24-48 hours, so I encourage you to buy it and be inspired by the stories of powerful Latinas.

These stickers were sent off the Los Angeles today to go into swag bags for the Las Fotos Project’s Gala. I am grateful that Raíces STL can support this wonderful nonprofit and thankful we get to make a small impact halfway across the country. These designs were so fun to make and I can’t wait for others to enjoy them too.

For the past 3 1/3 months, my co-founder, Cristina Fletes-Mach, and I have been hard at work. We have been setting the foundation for our collection to uplift the Latino community and highlight our roots in the fabric of the St. Louis Culture. Through the long days of busy concept planning, creating designs and a website, and vetting vendors, our hard work finally paid off with a fun photoshoot with my cousins and close friends to model our initial products! As two creatives who love to express our love for our culture, we are so excited to launch RAICES STL and build the community desire.
