This fun couple came to us dreaming of an airy, modern living room and dining area. First, we selected an ivory sectional, followed by tables that offered clean, modern lines in materials like concrete, raw wood, and resin. Dried florals in textured vases rounded out accessories, as did the bookcase styling with wood slice sculptures. Leather and wood bar stools warmed up the white kitchen, and custom striped draperies offered softness. My favorite part of the room was the large-scale watercolor (behind the chair) depicting a North Carolina waterway.

Can we talk about cozy for a minute? ❤️ Our English cottage-inspired space feels like home in all the best ways — warm colors, collected treasures, meaningful artwork, and comfortable seating arranged for long conversations with family and friends.

My favorite detail: We layered two wreaths with an antique to***co basket to create a fireplace focal point that paid tribute to our client’s North Carolina farming roots.

The sweetest part was watching our client take it all in on Installation Day. Joy spread across her face as each thoughtful detail sparked memories of loved ones and days gone by.

Based on my client’s love love of the western mountain landscape, this kitchen concept was all about transforming a basic builder-grade space into something layered, warm, and deeply personal.

From the earthy clay tones to the soft blue cabinetry and organic textures, every selection was meant to echo the richness and quiet beauty of the mountains.

And then, my recent trip to Sedona sealed it. Standing in that landscape, I had one of those “yes, this is exactly right” moments. The palette, the feeling, the intention were all aligned!

That’s the magic of thoughtful design – it doesn’t just look beautiful, it means something.

Our client already had a strong foundation – custom drapery, a green chair, cream sofa, and wood side table. From there, we layered in warm neutral paint and a bold millwork color, along with an area rug, lighting (sconce, chandelier, and lamps), wall art, throw pillows, a coffee table, and accessories to make the room truly sing.
