🐾 A Message from Noelle's Foster Kittens

Today we shared one of our favorite traditions—Forever Home Friday—celebrating the many kittens who have found loving families over the past few weeks. These posts are truly some of the happiest moments we get to share.

Unfortunately, within 30 minutes of posting, we received an angry email because one of the kittens had been adopted by its foster mom, and this person wanted it.

We'd like to take a moment to explain why this happens.

Our foster families open their homes, sacrifice their time, lose sleep, bottle-feed around the clock, administer medications, clean endless messes, and pour their hearts into saving these kittens' lives. They are there through the sickness, the setbacks, and the milestones. Along the way, they sometimes form an incredible bond with a kitten—and when that happens, we absolutely believe they deserve the opportunity to adopt first.

After all, they didn't just choose that kitten. They saved that kitten.

Something else we'd like to gently remind everyone of: every kitten deserves to be loved—not just the ones with the most sought-after colors or markings.

Right now, we have over 30 kittens looking for forever homes. Some have received no applications at all, while one Siamese kitten received more than 50 applications. It's heartbreaking to see wonderful, affectionate kittens overlooked simply because they don't have the "popular" look.

The kitten with the perfect coat isn't always the kitten that's the perfect match. Personality, temperament, and the bond you build together are what truly matter.

Finally, we ask for one simple thing: please be kind to rescuers. ❤️

Animal rescue is emotionally exhausting, incredibly demanding, and completely volunteer-driven. We don't do this for recognition or pay—we do it because we love these animals and believe every life is worth saving.

Constructive questions are always welcome. Rude emails, angry demands, and personal attacks only make an already difficult job harder.
Please don't be THAT PERSON.

Please remember that behind every message, application, and social media post is a team of people doing their very best for the animals in our care.

Thank you to everyone who supports us with kindness, patience, and understanding. Because of you, we can keep saying "yes" to kittens who desperately need our help. 🐾💕

Oliver was one of our tinies from last fall! He was always such a little cutie.. But look at the majestic creature that he has grown into LOL.
Seriously nothing makes me happier than getting updates and pictures from families after they've been adopted.

Miss Mila and Miss Cassie left us today to go start their lives with their new family! We're gonna miss these pretty girls. But we're so thankful that they have both been adopted together and joined a sweet little family that we know will love them just as much as we do!
We love double adoptions 🥰
Because the only thing better than getting a new kitten, is getting 2 new kittens! 🙂‍↔️💕

This handsome gentleman was found with his little sister living in a couch in a junkyard in Fort Worth at just 4 weeks old. He is so intelligent and communicative.. and extremely loving.

FOSTERS URGENTLY NEEDED
We are currently seeking fosters for our older, more independent kitties! 🐾
If you are interested in opening your home to a kitten or cat in need, even temporarily, this would help tremendously! There is an overwhelming number of babies that have needed help this year, with extremely limited placements for them. So please consider lending a hand! Fosters are an amazing stepping stone on the way to permanent placement!

**SOS**
We are URGENTLY needing homes for many of our older kittens! Our page has been pretty quiet for a few weeks now because kitten season has been coming at us full force. We cannot continue at this rate unfortunately. It absolutely breaks my heart to have to turn away kittens and people in need of help but we have no choice right now. We are extremely overwhelmed and the past month has been nothing less of tragic.

If you're in a position to open your home to a cat in need of a home, please consider adopting! It would mean the world to them and us!
