Rural Arts Coop had the opportunity to entertain the visiting ladies of WIT Summit last night at The Treehouse Mansion of Kelly’s Jubilee. It was so much fun and we loved sharing the evening and hospitality goodness with North Nash Catering, Experience Robertson County, Visit Sumner TN and Discover Cheatham. Renee held down the kitchen while Mandy, Amelia, Reagan and I provided a curated blend of songs and stories to share with the group. The rain held off for the evening and I cannot imagine a more tranquil and unique venue for a house concert.

The Coop kicked off our Rising Hearts Teen Open Mic Night recently in Greenbrier at The Storybook Cottage! We featured the talented Amelia and Reagan of She’s My Sister keeping the songs flowing along with the spoken word of our resident teen poet, Hailey B. Summer has arrived and we will be announcing our monthly meetup dates for the season this week.

Rural Kids Rock unofficial meetup today! Come join Bel from 3-7 PM at BS Brew Works to learn more about the story behind Robertson County and Middle Tennessee’s newest Arts Cooperative! Cousin Maine’s Lobster will be parked on site and we’ll be finishing with a stroll down to Capitol Theatre to celebrate the lighting of their new sign! It’s a great day to live in or visit our hometown. Hope to see you!!

Proud to announce our first Rising Hearts Teen Open Mic coming up April 25th in Greenbrier at The Storybook Cottage. Doors open at 6:30 for sign ups and we’ll run from 7-9 PM! She’s My Sister featuring Amelia and Reagan are hosting this time around and we couldn’t be more excited!

Maybe you’ve got a song in your soul, you’re a budding poet or standup comedian? Middle school to high school solo and duet performers are welcome on our stage. If you need a little coaching to feel comfortable in front of a mic? DM us! We’ll have a separate mini workshop prior to the show to help build your confidence and skills in front of a mic and crowd. We can’t wait to see you!

One day I was out a walkin’ in my hometown and I paused for no clear reason. That’s when I saw this f hole and bird just like the ones I had in mind for something new and I knew it was a sign from the divine. Sometimes what you’re supposed to do in this life looks different than you imagined, but that’s just dressing. Boots on the ground and head in the clouds, y’all. Let’s get creative together! 🤍🐦‍⬛🪽
