Luminary Floral

The coolest part about making art for a living is getting to really embody the feeling of this song. I love this song and it stays on my repeat playlist because I think of it like a spell. I’m doing things my way. I didn’t follow the normal pathway to become a florist, but here I am. I don’t always follow the same “rules” I see, I do things my way. I don’t always have the tools at my disposal I need, so I figure out how to adapt.

When I was putting this arrangement together for Hannah I forgot to bring my chicken wire or any foam. So I grabbed a few river rocks, put them in the bottom, and used that instead. It worked for what we needed, and reinforced I am adaptable.

Being a florist is being a professional problem solver, even for problems you didn’t know could exist. And every problem I encounter, I figure out my way. ✨

As I get ready to head out for a wedding today I have to share a sneak peek I got from my brides from last week. When I tell you my jaw is on the floor and I’ll have to be carrying it around all day 😱
