Just finished my latest "show piece" to display at markets.

Its a 45 layer random pattern 13" kukri with a 2 piece padauk handle and a brass spacer.

My goal is to draw out one billet every morning before it gets too hot.

Then when I have a certain layer count I need, I can cut up and stack as needed.

Couldn't pass up this slow mo shot of my student using the surface grinder.

Latest 7" chef knife out of the etch. One more knife to add to the pile that needs scales 😩

My wrists and shoulders hurt. The shop is hot. But the etch is done.

Time to take a break before I tackle the handle.

After finishing the bevels and hand sanding the initial scratches out, its time to turn this piece of steel into a usable kukri.
