Hands-on learning, right where it matters most. ๐๐พ
At Poulin Grain, we believe the best training happens both in the classroom and out in the field. Our team recently participated in trainings at Westminster Farm in Westminster, VT and Remillards in Peru, NY, gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day realities of farm management and feed delivery.
During these trainings, the team focused on key areas including heat abatement, facilities, feed management, and animal behavior. ๐โ๏ธ By observing these factors in real farm environments, our employees were able to better understand how barn design, environmental conditions, feeding practices, and herd behavior all play a role in animal comfort, performance, and overall farm success.
These on-farm learning opportunities help strengthen our teamโs knowledge, improve communication with producers, and support the dependable service our customers expect from Poulin Grain. ๐ค
A sincere thank-you to Westminster Farm and Remillard Farm for welcoming our team and helping make these valuable training experiences possible! ๐
