3 Tips to identifying your OWN Character Strengths to use to your advantage

Character Strengths are the positive parts of your personality that impact how you think, feel and behave - according to the VA Institute on Character.

You can begin to identify and use these traits by 1:

- Journaling. Sit down and think truly about the core of who you are. What do you value and how do you express that at the very foundation of who you are? Try to use words with depth and meaning. Then, check out the 24 identified character strengths and see which ones you most align with!

- Take a quiz. You can always take a good quiz. I love the one from the VA Institute on Character because it dives deep into who and how and why behind using your positive qualities to your advantage!

- Talk to a health coach. Believe it or not our work is not just about diet, nutrition and exercise. We value the WHOLE person, and believe character strengths are actually a key way to embody your optimal wellbeing.
