I’ve noticed—when I reach for control, for polish, for the right words, for the extra-effort, I’m actually stepping away from love. But when I unclench, when I don’t hide the ache or the edge or the holy mess, when I open to receive, when I listen, something miraculous happens: the space between softens. There’s more room. One of the most unexpected gifts I have personally received from showing up to the Vault a few hundred times in 2024 is the accountability of (ironically) showing my face on camera! I know, I know, the photographer who is camera shy...but really...I WAS outrageously squirmy (even with my besties) on video and NOW, I can't help but smile and dance with my Vault people!

I know other participants have experienced similar inner reveals—suddenly realizing the resistance they had to make the cookie basket or organizing the desk or printing all those photos from their album was...gone!
