This year’s early flush of roses is outstanding with some still in the bid stage. They love the rain and sunshine.

This is the time of year when temperatures start to creeping that we get spring fever. But resist if you can. March is an unpredictable month with snowfall (lots of it) recorded over the years. Freezing temperatures are common. It’s not the time to be buying and planting tender plants and flowers. If anything, start hot houses or grow seedling inside. They’ll be plenty of time for gardening but patience is the key. More soon.
